For those taking this course, you will see listed a 'course project' where you will have the chance to (pending my approval of the topic) do one of two things:
1. conduct a study of your choosing in the course topic areas
2. create a design in the course topic area
If you want to run a study, you need Research Ethics Approval to include human participants. I have Course Ethics Approval which means you can write up an ethics application and submit it to me for review. If it is minimal risk, and I deem it to be sufficiently described and following ethical procedures, I will approve it. If not, I will ask for revisions.
Before you write up an ethics application, you need to complete this tutorial and show me your certificate of completion.
