I am a postdoctoral fellow in the connections Lab. I am also currently finishing a PhD in Human-Robot Interaction (University of Manitoba), and previously received an MSc in Human-Computer Interaction (Georgia Tech) and a BSc in Psychology (University of Manitoba).
My research has focused on how people respond to unexpected robot behaviours, through obedience, trust, persuasion, and empathy. My PhD research specifically focused on how young children trust robots, and how such trust is affected by robot errors.
As part of the Connections Lab, I investigate how people communicate with each other through the use of various technological modalities, and how devices can be designed to support such communication.
